Ty was brilliant at this year’s AWB Workforce Summit! His comments were relevant, timely and for some, eye-opening. Getting information out to the business community around how they can make considerations to hire people in recovery was key.  Knowing that there is such important work being done to provide coaching, education and support for people who are turning a corner in their life’s journey is reassuring.

His work helping job seekers overcome employment barriers isn’t going unnoticed. And for employers, knowing that we can tap into so much human potential if only we consider those that don’t fit into a predefined mold provides opportunities for individuals with extremely valuable job skills like creativity, resilience, tenacity and strength.
